The development of a paper bag to the plastic bag can be studied also in the shop. The bags in these photos are all from one company: The company Gebr
Baur according to the dictionary of the dolls and doll houses were founded in 1829 by two brothers in Biberach in Württemberg, who was a pastry chef and the other merchant. They were by Tragantfiguren known mass, the miniatures were made at that time. In the dictionary entry you will find pictures of ads the company for shop items from 1913, 1929, 1931 and 1952. The trade mark was in 1931 BABI (Baur Biberach). In the '50s they offered to purchase edible items in the store sugar, chocolate and marzipan.



Changes: from paper to plastic bag bag, in the toy shop, too. The bags on these photos are from one company:
"Gebr Baur" was founded by two brothers in 1829 in Biberach, Germany. The first one was a pastry chef and the other one a merchant. They sold tragacanth miniatures, an oldfashioned substance used for dolls house miniatures as well. In Swantje Köhler's German dolls house dictionary you see ads for toy shop accessories from 1913, 1929, 1931 and 1952. Already in 1931 their trademark was BABI (BAur BIberach). During the 1950s their range of products included edible accessories made of sugar, chocolate and marzipan.
