The Netherlands next to England and Germany probably the most traditional dollhouse history. It gives an overview of the history. Karin Wester is the collector and connoisseur of the Dolls House History 1945 - 1980, with her, the Dutch manufacturer as SIO, and the German OKWA Modella, Hennig and Jean agents when they were sold in the Netherlands, she continued the story, everything from a Dutch point of view, which was manufactured at home, which was imported.
The Netherlands have a long and great tradition of dolls houses, just like England and Germany. This book presents Femmie brand Stein's collection, Gottschalk houses, old English and French dolls houses and rooms, with a short history. Karin Wester is the Dutch specialist on the history of dolls house 1945 to 1980, she introduces Dutch producers like SIO and OKWA but as they had no line of furniture of their own, Lundby and German firms are presented, too. Modella, Hennig and Jean were sold in the Netherlands for the interior decoration of Dutch dollhouses
